KIDS EAT FREE is a non-profit organization of the Van Alstyne Ministerial Alliance. We were organized for spiritual and charitable purposes that include:
* to support and conduct non-partisan research, education and informational activities to increase public awareness of juvenile hunger;
* to combat childhood hunger in and around the Van Alstyne area;
* to prevent children and young adults from living hungry for extended periods of time; and
* to demonstrate God's love by feeding the hungry.
Kids Eat Free 2014 begins Monday, June 9th. Lunches can be picked up at the First United Methodist Church gym from 11:30-12:00 each weekday throughout the summer until Aug. 22nd. For more info about signing up, donating, or volunteering, go to our website at kidseatfree.webs.com.

Join the team for SpaceQuest VBS '14! We are beginning to gather volunteers for our Vacation Bible School July 28th-August 1st. There are numerous opportunities for involvement. We are currently looking for: a team to oversee decorations, a K-4th craft coordinator, help with setup for the Friday night family meal, a K-4th Bible Study teacher, floaters to travel with the grades between stations, a leader to talk with kids about missions, a VBS cleanup crew and extra hands for each station.
