Daylight Savings Time begins this Sunday, March 9, at 2:00 am. Please remember to change your clocks BEFORE you come to church Sunday morning (you don't have to stay up until 2am, you can change them Saturday night before bed). Sunday School and Worship Service will begin on the NEW time.

Annie Armstrong Easter Offering

N orth American Mission Board missionaries are just like the sower who generously and intentionally spread seed upon many types of soil. His focus and purpose was t o spread the seed everywhere, not just choose the most fertile soil. The NAMB missionaries are focused on sharing the gospel with all people, remaining steadfast in their commitment to sow the gospel despite the challenges and risks. They are motivated to bring people to Christ and to see churches and individuals bear fruit and multiply. They are confident in their faith, bold in their witness and dependent on our prayers and support that encourage them each day. In the next few weeks you have the opportunity to give to the Southern Baptist North American Mission Board through the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering. One hundred percent of your contribution will go directly to these missionaries and their work. Our church goal this year is $5000.

We have set a date for DiscipleNow weekend! Mark your calendars for March 28-30. This is a powerful and life changing event for our students. Would you be willing to allow a group to stay in your home? We provide food and college students to lead the youth. Students arrive Friday night and pack up Sunday morning to head home from church services. There is a possible need for transportation support as students are not allowed to drive during DNow. If you would like more information or to sign up please email us through kids@fbcva.com.
