Business Meeting Report
Results of church-wide vote

The Building Steering Committee brought a proposal to church wide vote on Sunday, January the 13th. The proposal brought was to remove the Cartwright Road Property from sale and to confirm the future relocation of FBCVA to the Cartwright Property. 

The results were announced at the business meeting on Sunday evening. 
144 Members voting. 
130 voting for proposal, 
14 voting against proposal. 
The proposal passes with a 90% approval of the FBCVA. 

We thank the members of the Building Steering Committee for their service. The Committee Members are: David Kerr (CH), Sarah Coleman, Randall Morgan, Mike Singleton, Richard Dunkerson, Brian Weaver, David Barr, Wanada McLain, Pat Kelly, and Russell Moore. 



Wednesday Night Returns 
Children, Youth and Women's studies return at 6pm this week! 

Women's Bible Study

The Women's Ministry will begin a new Bible study series, 'Chase', from Jennie Allen, this Wednesday, January 16. We will meet at 9:30 am downstairs and at 6:00 pm in the sanctuary. Childcare is available during both times. Study books will be available at the meeting for $9.99. Please contact Dacia Hatch if you have questions. Hope to see you there! 

 

Kid's Time: 6-7:30pm a blend of small groups and choir with a snack meal.

Concert at FBCVA! 
featuring Adam Paul Williams, 
Sunday Jan 20th at 6pm

Adam Paul Williams will be leading us in worship on Sunday morning January 20th and returning in concert at 6pm. 
 
As a licensed minister of the gospel, Adam Paul is a minister by desire and by profession. With a formal education in music, this is his collective outlet for ministry. His concert is designed to uplift, inspire, and lead the Body to worship, and to use music as a means to the end of revealing Jesus Christ as Lord! Make plans to attend and bring a friend.



Open House
current message series this Sunday

our current message series, by Interim Pastor Joe Lightner. This message series will take an open look into the houses of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. As we study these families we will see areas that will make our families stronger by following their example or by learning from their mistakes.
