Today officially closes out the tenure of Brother Jimmy Tarrant as Pastor of FBC of Van Alstyne. We are thankful for the past in the leadership that Brother Jimmy provided for 25 years to the congregation. But we are also excited about what God has planned for FBCVA. 

 

 

'Transition Sunday' at FBCVA, July 1, 2012

 The Pastor Search Committee will be leading a service of prayer, dedication, worship, and vision casting in this time of transition. This will be a special and 'different' service in design. Please make all efforts to attend this service to join together in seeking God at this time in the life of our congregation. 

 

This service will be at 11:00am. Kids Church will be available. 

 

Making the Move... 

 If you are interested in helping the Tarrant's move we are gathering at 8am on Saturday, June 30, to help load and transport to Greenville. Meet at 254 Echols street, directly across from GCEC main building. Some are helping load, some are loading and delivering, and some will be there just to show Love and Support. If there are any teens interested in gaining community service hours, Griff will be providing transportation and lunch!
