With all the heartbreak  across the nation, even amongst some family and friends, I was having trouble getting into the Season...but this afternoon, while mowing what's left of our winter lawn in the drizzly cold, gym shorts and all, I found myself singing "O Little Town of Bethlehem," especially the tag line of the first stanza, which I haven't stopped singing... "The hopes and fears of all the years are met in Thee tonight!" Joy to the world, the Lord is come!  |
