SAFE SCHOOL CLIMATE PARENT SURVEY
|
IB Learning profiles (caring, principled, open minded, etc.) are an integral part of the International Baccalaureate primary years program and we are always searching for ways to promote them. As such, during the 2015-2016 school year, one of ISD's goals was for classroom teachers to assign their students a "joint" homework assignment that related to the Learner Profiles to complete with their parents. These assignments, to be completed at least twice during the school year, required students and parents to identify a character in a book that exhibited an IB Learning Profile attribute or a District Norm.
In addition to this, the specialists continued to provide positive communication to parents regarding their child as related to the IB Learning Profile traits, IB Attitudes and the District Norms. These goals were created by the Safe School Climate Committee upon their review of the Safe School Climate Survey at the beginning of this school year.
SURVEY OPEN THROUGH MAY 15
This survey was emailed to you on Wednesday, May 11, and will be open until Sunday, May 15. The results from this survey will support the Safe School Climate Committee in directing our planning for next school year. Please take a moment to complete this survey.
