The Lamorinda Rugby Club has been active in the Lafayette community almost 40 years.  Thousands of local youth have developed life long friendships and found athletic excellence through the program.  Lamo Rugby launched a Women's rugby team this year to provide the same opportunity to our region's female athletes.  Each year the team visits a foreign country to learn about their culture, establish friendships and engage in friendly competition with local clubs.  This year, the tour destination is Australia!  In order to ensure that all players are able to participate in the tour, regardless of their economic means, the club offers sponsorship opportunities to local businesses who, through their generosity, ensure that no player is left behind.  Lafayette Chamber members who would like to learn more about participating in the sponsorship program are encouraged to contact Jonathon Wall, Lamo Rugby Corporate Sponsorship Chair at [email protected] or 925-759-7088.
