EBMUD Construction EBMUD Diablo Vista Pumping Plant Construction Update October 2016

EBMUD's contractor is almost done installing 30-inch diameter pipeline and related services lines along  Mount Diablo Blvd. Traffic shifts to accommodate the pipeline and subsequent patch paving work are tentatively scheduled to complete in the next few weeks. Expect pumping plant construction vehicles and deliveries to access the site via the site entrance on Mt. Diablo Ct. until the project is complete. Work will continue into the summer of 2017 with the majority of heavy construction at the new site to be completed by spring 2017. Once the new structure is complete, systems will be tested and it will be placed online to pump water to your community. The old pumping plant on mount Diablo Blvd. near Carol Ln. will then be taken out of service and demolished and a new City parking lot will be constructed in its place.

If you have any questions about the Diablo Vista Pumping Plant replacement Project, please contact Sharla Sullivan, [email protected] or call (510) 287-7208. To learn more about the project, please visit www.ebmud.com/construction and scroll to Lafayette.
