City Council tackles tough issues tonight - Monday, May 23, 2016 - 7:00pm, Lafayette Library & Learning Center
The Parking Ordinance Committee has been meeting for two years reviewing our city's parking ordinance and preparing recommendations for the council to consider.  Tonight, the Parking Committee will be sharing the findings and recommendations.  This is item number 8C and should come up on the agenda around 7:45pm.  Much of the discussion will about expanding the parking meters in town and in-Lieu Fees and additional parking.  Later in the meeting the city will consider whether to adopt an inclusionary Housing Ordinance that would require a percentage of new for-sale housing units in the Downtown to be sold at below-market-rates. If you would like to weigh in on these topics, please attend tonight's meeting or send your thoughts to cityhall@lovelafayette.org.
