Now - June 6 - Jennifer Perlmutter Gallery presents Clay Jensen + Betty Friedman, "Bronze and Paper"

Jennifer Perlmutter Gallery, a contemporary art gallery in Lafayette, CA, is pleased to present a two-person exhibit of  Bay Area artists Clay Jensen and Betty Friedman. This exhibit will feature Clay Jensen's new series of bronze plates and large vessels and Betty Friedman's new and completely unique works on paper. Now - June 13 - Moraga Art Gallery's exhibit "Transitions"

Having been temporarily closed by a February flood, the Moraga Art Gallery has  re-opened with new show entitled "Transitions" featuring the one-of-a-kind, Asia-accented jewelry of Lafayette's own master jeweler K. de Groot, and a collection of Raku and pit-fired pottery by guest artist Mary Leigh Miller of Moraga. Now - June 15 - Moon Over Buffalo at Town Hall Theatre
Town Hall Theatre's show Moon Over Buffalo continues thru June 15. A slam-bang farce from the author of "Lend Me A Tenor", "Moon Over Buffalo" focuses on George & Charlotte Hay, two fading stars of the 1950s. About to give up all hope of stardom, they receive word that they might just have one last shot: Frank Capra is coming to town to see their matinee, and if likes what he sees, he might cast them in his movie remake of The Scarlet Pimpernel. Now - June 21 - Cal Shakes presents Twelfth Night
Cal Shakes Theater in Orinda presents William Shakespeare's Twelfth Night which runs from May 27 through June 21. Director Christopher Liam Moore (Cal Shakes' Lady Windermere's Fan) is renowned for being able to delve into comedy, romance, and language with humanity and Úlan. Now he's opening our season with Shakespeare's comic masterpiece of mistaken identity, in which shipwrecked twins navigate across a strange island to find love-and each other. Now - June 28 - Lafayette Art Gallery's exhibit Spring It On Me
The Lafayette Art Gallery's exhibit Spring It On Me continues through June 27. This exhibit offers unexpected new works of original art that will puts a little spring in your step. A Free reception featuring photography of Lisa Franklin and the paintings and sculpture of Judy Bolef Miller will be held Friday, June 5 from 5:30 - 8:00 PM. Also on display are paintings, prints, collage, ceramics, glass pieces, jewelry, and photography by the Gallery's other member artists. May 30 - Cooking with Kids Fundraiser & Wine Tasting
Cooking with Kids Foundation will be holding their 1st Annual Fundraiser & Wine Tasting Event on Saturday, May 30 from 3:00pm-6:30pm at 35 Hansen Court, Moraga. Donation: $40. Event includes 6 wine samplings and a barrel tastina, food and entertainment. Proceeds from the event will go towards purchase of a Mobile Classroom Kitchen, materials, books and organic foods used in classes. Sponsored by Bullfrog Creek Vineyard.

June 1 - Lamorinda Drum Circle
Join the Lamorinda Drum Circle with Kathy Quain on Monday, June 1 from 12-1pm at Lamorinda Music, 81 Lafayette Circle. Warm up with a review of drumming essentials, play some favorite rhythms and end with a Drum Circle Jam. Bring your favorite drum but know that we will have some extra drums. No experience necessary. June 1 - Deadline to Register for Lafayette Community Garden Summer Camp
Monday, June 1 is the dealine for registering for the Lafayette Community Garden and Outdoor Learning Center's Summer Camp. Living in the Colors of the Wind as a Miwok Native American will be held August 10-12 from 8:30-11:30am for children ages 8-12 years old. Fee is $30 ($15 deposit required at time of registration). June 6 - Lafayette Community Garden's Class on Healthy Household Cleaners
The Lafayette Community Garden and Outdoor Learning Center invites you to their class on Healthy Household Cleaners on Saturday  June 6 from 1:30 - 3:30 PM. Learn about some of the chemicals we are exposed to and how to lessen this exposure or avoid them. See how cleaning with natural homemade products can result in a healthier home and discover some easy and fun drought tips to share with your family. Classes at the Lafayette Community Garden, unless specified, are free. However, a $5 donation to support our education programs is appreciated. Click here to register.  
June 6 - Globel Student Embassy Fundraiser - Cultivating Change

Join Global Student Embassy at The Lafayette Library and Learning Center on Saturday, June 6 from 6:00pm-9:00pm for our annual fundraising dinner and celebration!  Guests will enjoy live music, an exciting silent auction and inspiring presentations by our student leaders.  This event is a fundraiser for GSE's student exchange scholarship fund, Eco-Action programming at 4 Contra Costa high schools and local garden projects. June 7 - Food For Thought Annual Garden Party

Loaves & Fishes is holding its fundraiser Food For Thought Annual Garden Party on Sunday, June 7 from 2:00-5:30pm at Hacienda De Las Flores (2100 Donald Drive, Moraga). June 7, 14, 21 & 28 - Weekly Family Bike Ride
On Sundays from 9am-11:30am join other local families for a fun, casual bike ride to Moraga Commons and back. The ride is recommended for 7 years and up but bring the little ones in a trailer or on your bike. They'll have fun playing at the Commons. We're usually back at Stanley by 11:15. Snacks and water are encouraged. Meet on the Lafayette-Moraga Trail at Stanley Middle School.

June 10 - Jennifer Perlmutter Gallery's New Exhibit Small Works
Jennifer Perlmutter Gallery's new exhibit Small Works open on Wednesday, June 10. Artists: Young Sun Bai, Tina Pressler, Nicole Wakeman, Gregory Vasgerdsian, Jan Weiss, Stephen Elbert, Nancy Boynton Hartley. Jennifer Perlmutter Gallery is located at 3620 Mt. June 11 - Eat to End Alzheimer BBQ 
On Thursday, June 11 from 11am-2pm there will be an Eat to End Alzheimer BBQ at Desco Plaza Fountain Courtyard, 3675 Mt. Diablo Blvd. including music, raffle prizes and more. LinkedIn continues to evolve - are you keeping pace? This workshop reviews
platform updates and teaches simple steps to improve your online image using LinkedIn, as well as easy tips and tricks for leveraging this powerful online platform to generate and qualify leads, as well as encourage referrals to Strengthen Your Online Network. Wednesday, June 17 at 8am.
