Now - February 14 - Jennifer Perlmutter Gallery Presents "Julie Schumer:Without Hesitation" Exhibit

Jennifer Perlmutter Gallery Presents "Julie Schumer:Without Hesitation" Exhibit from January 10 - February 14. Julie Schumer, long time resident of Orinda, CA. now living and exhibiting her art in Santa Fe New Mexico returns home for a solo show.  Julie says "This body of work represents an experiment in alla prima painting. Wet layers of paint are quickly applied to still wet layers underneath. One must work quickly, spontaneously and without hesitation. The idea is to trust your hand." The Lafayette Art Gallery continues exhibition, "Voyages,"  In February our Featured Artists will be Marsha Ramp and Susan Erickson. Lafayette Art Gallery is located at 3420 Mt. Now - February 14 - Lafayette Art Gallery hosts "A Jewelry Extravaganza! Baubles and Bling!"

From January 27th though February 14,Valentines Day, the Lafayette Art Gallery will be hosting a special Jewelry exhibit "A Jewelry Extravaganza! Baubles and Bling!" The reception will be Friday, Feb. 6, 5:30 - 7 PM, just in time for you to pick up that special piece of jewelry for that special person for Valentines Day! Now - March 7 - Town Hall Theater Gallery Presents Beyond the Brush

Town Hall Theater Gallery Presents Beyond the Brush from January 10 - March 7 - Tuesday-Friday from 4pm-6pm and Saturday from 2pm-4pm. , There will be a reception on February 8 from 3pm-5pm. Town Hall Theater in association with the Lamorinda Arts Alliance is proud to announce the opening of its latest art exhibit, Beyond the Brush. Beyond the Brush is a collection of East Bay women who gather each month to critique, share and support one another as they grow as artists. Town Hall Theater Gallery is located at 3535 School Street.

February 1, 8, 15 & 22 - Weekly Family Bike Ride to Moraga Commons

On Sunday, February 1, 8, 15 & 22 from 9am-11:30am join other local families for a fun, casual bike ride to Moraga Commons and back. The ride is recommended for 7yrs and up but bring the little ones in a trailer or on your bike. They'll have fun playing at the Commons. We're usually back at Stanley by 11:15. Snacks and water are encouraged. Meet  on the Lafayette-Moraga Trail at Stanley Middle School.

February 6-7 - Diablo Ballet presents Enticing Beauty

Diablo Ballet's 21st Season continues with Enticing Beauty February 6-7, 2015 at the Del Valle Theatre in Walnut Creek. The performances, which place the audience within close proximity of the stage, feature live music and a lively, interactive Q&A with the dancers hosted by local celebrity moderators. It's time to claim & optimize your Google Plus Local Business Profile. Google Plus Local replaced Google Maps and "Google Local". If you've claimed either in the past, it's time to update. This is particularly important for businesses with brick and mortar locations.

February 20 - Best of CAIFF - Founders Night

Founders Night on Friday, February 20 from 7:00pm-9:00pm at the Rheem Theatre is your chance to see the BEST films shown so far in CAIFF Film Festival's 17 year history. February 21 - March 21 - Jennifer Perlmutter Gallery presents "Flesh and Mind" Exhibit

Jennifer Perlmutter Gallery at 3620 Mt. Diablo Blvd., Lafayette: Opening reception on February 21, 6PM-8PM for "Flesh and Mind", a free group art exhibit featuring Kerry Sorenson, Polly Frizzell and Elizabeth Jameson. Exploring the ephemeral, the artists use technology and fabrication to bring attention to the non-material ideas of beauty, pain, love and existence. LPIE Power Party - Tickets Available Now 

Early bird tickets for the LPIE Power Party are on sale before February 1 for $100/person. On February1st tickets increase to $130/person.

The LPIE Power Party - party of the year is just around the corner (Saturday, March 14)! Help power the party by becoming an event sponsor or donating an exciting raffle/auction prize. Of course, we hope to see you there, too! This year's event includes music, auctions, raffles, Pay 2 Play parties, and lots more. Don't miss out!
