Thursday, September 25 - Ribbon Cutting at Dudum Real Estate Group

 

Join us for a Ribbon Cutting and Grand Celebration on Thursday, September 25 at 5:00pm as Dudum Real Estate Group opens its newest location in Lafayette. 

Food, fun, market activity updates and insight, at this fabulous kick off. Wishing them all the best for a happy and successful business with many great years ahead. Dudum Real Estate Group is located at 999 Oak Hill Road, #100.

Friday, September 26 - Business Forum Meeting

Our monthly Business Forum/ Governmental Affairs Meeting is Friday, September 26 at 8:00 in the Chamber Conference Room. Are you interested in what the heck is going on around town?  Why are parking meters going in at La Fiesta Square?  Should the city put meters in public lots?  Did Govornor Brown sign SB270?  Is there going to be a review of the cities Master Downtown Landscaping Plan? When is the KB condo project going to start behind Panda Express?  Come join the discussion. Who knows, after attending you might just want to run for public office?  Or you may just want to run away.  Consider joining us for the monthly forum and get caught up with current events. Wednesday, October 8 - Mixer at Lafayette Art Gallery

Our monthly mixer is Wednesday, October 8 at the Lafayette Art Gallery from 5:30pm - 7:00pm. At Lafayette Art Gallery is located in The Forge at 3420 Mt. Diablo Blvd., Suite A. The Gallery soon to be new neighbor, Dave Roberson of Bonehead BBQ will be providing a sampling of his wonderful dishes. The Gallery is working on some additional food selections also.  

Some of the artists have donated their works and  local businesses such as Busy Stix are donating handmade items for the Raffle.  If you would like to have your business recognized, please bring a raffle item.

Grant Applications Being Accepted by Lafayette Community Foundation

The Lafayette Community Foundation is accepting grant applications for its fall grant cycle. The deadline to submit an application is September 30. Please visit lafayettecf.org for more information and to fill out an application for a grant request.

Chamber Office Closed on Monday, October 13

The Chamber Office will be closed on Monday, October 13 in observance of the Columbus Day Holiday.  We will reopen on Tuesday, October 14 at 9:00am.

Health Fair - Sunday, October 26

Our annual Health Fair - supporting the Healthy Lifestyles of Lamorinda Residents will be held at this year's Lafayette Reservoir Run on Sunday, October 26.  If you are interested in having a booth at the Health Fair. If you want to have a vendor booth at the Health Fair, contact Dr. Jackie Behymer at drjackiebehymer@gmail.com.

 

Reservoir Run Online Registration

Online Registration for the 22nd annual Reservoir Run held on Sunday, October 26 is now open. This year's t-shirt is based on the artwork of student Julien O'Donnell. Remember this event benefits Lafayette Schools. For more information visit our website.
