September is a bountiful harvest month and you'll see all kinds of fruits and vegetables in abundance at market this week: apples, cider, Asian pears, tomatoes and peppers and fall greens and winter squash to name just a few!  Plus we'll have seasonal baked goods in addition to your usual favorites.

We are happy to partner with the Phoenixville Green Team this week to host the 6th Annual Green Earth Festival whose theme is "LIVING GREEN" You'll find exhibitors that specialize in eco-friendly products and services, renewable alternative energy, environmental / trails / nature advocacy, and organizations making a difference in the community in other positive ways. There will be special children's activities in addition to our regular children's area.

At 9am, you can take an informative and FUN free walk on the Schuylkill River Trail.  Dr. Jason Elvin will talk about the truth of lower back pain and how to keep a healthy spine.  The walk will start at the foot bridge by the Foundry.

It's the Third Saturday of the month when we pay special attention to health.  Phoenixville Hospital will conduct free blood pressure screenings and they'll have other educational materials.
