Hello Market Shoppers!

Yes, it will be hot tomorrow, but the shade and breeze under the bridge make it feel much cooler! We have a great lineup of food and arts tomorrow, plus fantastic music by Sandy Pluta and Blue Moon from 10am to 1pm. 

We hope you'll notice the art installation along the trail right in the heart of the market.  It is part of the InsideOut project in which the Philadelphia Art Museum has placed high quality reproductions of items in their collection in locations around town.  The market is honored to be on the map! We will have maps showing all of the locations at our market table and there are also free tours.  You can get info about the tours and an app for a self-guided tour here. 


Our own artists are bringing beautiful and functional pieces that complement the farm fresh food at the market.  Be sure to take a look at their works.

Cucina Verde
Cucina Verde has some new products this week:
Lacto fermented onions- red onions are left to ferment in a brine with  cinnamon and juniper berries. These onions are delicious on salads, sandwiches and burgers!

Tomato Salsa- It's tomato season! Lacto fermented salsa has just the right amount of zing! Use it with chips, on salads or on sandwiches!

We will also have Kurry Kraut, Moroccan Carrots and  Rosemary Red Kraut!


Deep Roots Valley Farm
We have our full selection of chicken, beef and eggs!


Flower Fairies

The Flour Fairies will be bringing a lovely selection of tarts, scones, Welsh Cookies, and Molly's Irish Soda Bread. Stop by and see us, Fairy Friends!




Furnace Creek Farm
Furnace Creek Farm offers medicinal and culinary herbs, as well as skin tonic, infused honey, and tisane made fresh from the farm weekly.  Ashwagandha berries are new this week and we'll have another batch of our borage tisane, and three other flavors - valerian, tulsi basil, and spilanthes. Our valerian tisane is the latest brew, which is a relaxing blend of valerian root, tulsi basil, and Chinese mint. Our spilanthes tisane is a digestive tonic and has been combined with bitter melon and lemon verbena. We will have three different kinds of infused honey: borage, feverfew, and tulsi. Stop by to say hi and chat about herbs!
