It looks like the weather will be great for the market and for Memorial Day picnics this week.!
What better way to celebrate than with some great local food!  And we will have lots of it this week, including local strawberries, great pasture raised meats, perfect for the grill, maple barbecue sauce from Ridge Valley, gluten free rolls for your burgers and much much more!

It will be hot for baking but our bakers have cooked up pies, cookies, scones, breads and more!

Sandy Pluta will  be on stage from 10am to 1pm, be sure to grab a seat and listen.

 Brandywine Biochar returns to the market this week!  They bake local waste wood inside a kiln that converts the wood into its pure carbon form and inoculate the biochar, taking advantage of its porous physical characteristics that make it an exceptional habitat for beneficial micro-organisms, water, and nutrients.  Your plants will love it!

SPECIAL GUEST:  Ticked Off Foundation
  The Ticked Off Foundation is dedicated to the prevention, awareness, and cure of Lyme disease and other tick-borne illnesses that have become the fastest-growing infectious diseases in the United States.

During the month of May, they are collecting recyclable personal care containers to raise money to support their programs.  Please bring your empty containers to the market.  The collection box will be near our information table.
