The market is in full swing this week and we will be packed with food, food trucks and artists!  PLUS we will have fantastic music by the Hytha Family.  Watching this Phoenixville Family perform can't help but bring a smile to your face! Please take a look at the vendor's listings below so you don't miss anything!

Many thanks to St. Peter's Bakery who gave a wonderful bread making demonstration last week.  We learned just how much care they take to make their breads.  It is a three day process and each loaf is shaped by hand.  No wonder they are so beautiful!

We will have THREE food trucks this week.  You can eat breakfast and stay for lunch at the market!

SPECIAL GUEST:  Ticked Off Foundation
The Ticked Off Foundation is dedicated to the prevention, awareness, and cure of Lyme disease and other tick-borne illnesses that have become the fastest-growing infectious diseases in the United States.

During the month of May, they are collecting recyclable personal care containers to raise money to support their programs.  Please bring your empty containers to the market.  The collection box will be near our information table.

Birchrun Hills
Just tried this great recipe for Rhubarb Jam!
Excellent with many things including our Fat Cat cheese! Stop by and share your combination ideas!

Ingredients: 1lb rhubarb stems only cut into 1 inch pieces [about 4 big stalks], 1 cup sugar, 1 lemon - zest and juice, seeds of one vanilla bean or 1 tsp vanilla.

Directions: Combine all ingredients in a large sauce pan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 30 minutes.

we will have our nitrate bacon, sugar free bacon, Candian bacon, pulled pork heat and eat, nitrate free ham slices and all your grilling needs. Try our meat loaf beef and pork make your own patties with it for the grill.

Cucina Verde
Cucina Verde will have the fermented staples:
Three D Kraut- a bright springtime kraut with cabbage, daikon, dandelion greens and dulse. Delicious with salads, avocados and sandwiches!

Curtido- a Traditional Latin American Sauerkraut with cabbage, onion, carrot, oregano and hot pepper- Wonderful with braised meats!!

Kim Chi- nappa cabbage with kim chi spice- delicious with anything :)

Moroccan Carrots- Carrots fermented with cumin, coriander, cinnamon, hot pepper and garlic. Use on salads and use the brine in the dressing.

Raisin Chutney- only a few avaiable , so stop by early to pick up yours!! This is a delicious condiment with cheese, grains, breads..
