Memorial Day
Market!
  May 23, 2015
9am to 1pm
Hello Market Shoppers!

STRAWBERRIES!!!  Yes, they are finally ripe and will be at the market in limited quantities.  The good news is that this is just the beginning of the season for these red beauties.  It's not too late to plant a garden of your own and we will have lovely plant starts this week including some very unusual varieties of chile peppers from Chile Spot.

Memorial Day marks the beginning of the grilling season and we will have just about everything for a start of summer picnic- burgers, hot dogs, pies, cupcakes, breads, cheese, wine, kombucha, guacamole, the list goes on and on!

A few new producers return to the market on Saturday- Stark juice will have refreshing and healthful cold-pressed juices and The Mill at Anselma will bring their locally milled flours.
Do you have dull knives or clippers?  Neil's Sharpening Service will be here this Saturday and on the 4th Saturday of every month.

Michael Kropp will sing his totally upbeat songs from 10am to noon.  What a way to start the summer!

Parking- there is FREE parking in the lot next to the Borough Hall and it is a very pleasant short walk to the market along the trail!

See you at the Market!

Cold pressing preserves the plant's live enzymes that would otherwise be destroyed by the heat created in other types of processing. Stark Juice does not use any pasteurization or heat of any kind, so all nutrients are left untouched making a delicious and healthy drink!
