Hello Market Shoppers!

 

It looks like we will have a beautiful day for our next holiday market on December 13th!

We have a VERY SPECIAL TREAT for our doggie market friends this Saturday.  Santa (thank you Chuck, from St. Peter's Bakery!) will be on hand to have his photo taken with your four- legged best friend! We will have an old fashioned Polaroid to snap a shot and will also take 21st century shots with our phones.  So... bring your doggy to the market this Saturday!

 

On stage this week, Marvin Andersen will play holiday favorites on his trumpet.  Feel free to grab a seat an listen! 

 

In spite of the fact that it is the middle of December, the market will be loaded with fresh picked vegetables and fruits as well as roasts, cheeses, teas, wine, chocolate, hummus, breads, candles, jewelry- everything you need for weeknight meals AND holiday celebrations and hostess gifts.  

 


Don't forget that the Market will be open every Saturday from 10am to noon until the New Year, after which we will have markets on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays, January through April.

Providers This Week

Now that the weather has certainly changed to winter, we will be bringing all our hot beverages, coffee, tea, hot chocolate & hot cider.    With the holidays coming up, it's a good time to pick up an extra bag of our One Village Coffee beans.  In addition to our "Artisan" blend we will bring an assortment of blends.  12 oz. bag -  $12.75 or 2 bags for $25.00.
  
Backyard Bison
 I'll have have a nice selection of burgers, steaks, roasts, hot dogs, sausage, jerky, etc. Pre-orders are not necessary for most items.

Thank you so so much to so many of you who have supported our commitment to expand our cheese operation!  The deadline to participate is Saturday morning at 6am.  We would appreciate any level of support.  We love being able to produce our cheeses for you and want to ensure we can continue to do so!

Dave will be at the market, he's bring a large variety of holiday candles' 5 different colors of tapers, , snowmen, pillars, angels, Christmas trees, Santa, stars, and lots more.  There should be something for everyone.  They make great teacher's gifts or Pollyanna"s.

He'll also have the usual honey, bee pollen, beeswax creams, lotions and balms

We will be  taking orders for Christmas hams and also any special cuts you may want for the holiday.  Try our heat and ribs for an easy and tasty meal.

Deep Roots Valley Farm
This week our whole chicken wings will be on special for $4/lb (that's $1/lb off).  We'll also have our normal selection of chicken.

Our beef supply is currently very low, but we do have a good amount of top round roasts available.  We will be replenishing our freezers in the next couple of weeks and are looking forward to offering a bigger selection again!

Forks Farm
