Hello Market Shoppers!

We hope that everyone enjoyed a Happy Thanksgiving with all of the great local food from the Market!  The farmers and bakers and artisans thank all of you who have supported the Market.

 

The good news is that the Market will be open every Saturday from November 29th to December 27th from 10 am to 12 noon with lots of farm fresh food and great locally made unique holiday gifts!     

 

Tomorrow is Small Business Saturday. Shopping at the market and in downtown Phoenixville is a great way to support the small local enterprises that enrich our lives and our community.  We hope you will come down to see us! While the temperature tomorrow will be chilly, we'll have all sorts of hot food to keep you warm!  If you have out of town guests, why not bundle them up and bring them down to your market and enjoy a Willson's incredible fingerstyle guitar while having a cup of coffee and a delicious croissant from St. Peter's Bakery?    

 

Some of our regular farmers are taking a break this week, but they will be back next week! They are: Shellbark Hollow, Sweetwater Bakery, Backyard Bison and North Star Orchard.   Many of our special producers will be at the holiday markets on selected Saturdays.  Be sure to check our newsletter so you don't miss them!

Providers This Week 

Farmers & Food
 
Now that the weather has certainly changed to winter, we will be bringing all our hot beverages, coffee, tea, hot chocolate & hot cider.    With the holidays coming up, it's a good time to pick up an extra bag of our One Village Coffee beans.  In addition to our "Artisan" bend we will bring additional blends for your selection.  12 oz bags are $12.75 or 2 bags for $25.00.  

We'll have some great cheese and a selection of our veal. 
Over the past seven years, we've nurtured our cheese making business and have outgrown our current small home for the cheese. SO...we're taking a leap. We're investing everything we have to grow our cheese making business by building a new facility on our farm to make and age more of our beautiful cheese.

By supporting the BHF Raise a Cave Kickstarter Campaign you will help us to outfit the essential parts of the facility where our cheese is made and aged.

Charlestown Farm
We will be there ....lots of root veggies. ..arugula. ..celery

Country Time Farm
We will be at the market with pulled pork and smoked BB ribs.  We are still taking orders for Christmas Ham, whole or half nitrate free $5.79 a pound

Jacks Farm 
We'll be there with veggies!
All USDA Certified Organic. 

Oley Valley Mushrooms
Regular selection of mushrooms.

Deep Roots Valley Farm
Nothing is better in cold weather then a whole pasture raised chicken in the crock pot!  We'll have plenty along as well as all you favorite cuts of chicken.

We'll also have some great beef roasts, ground beef, patties, and filets!
 
Pureblend Tea
Pureblend will be there with Mulling Spices: Apple Cider, Red Wine, Honey-Chai and Fireside Spice Tea. Each Mulling Spice Pack will make a total of 1 GL of spiced beverage.  We think these will be a great addition to your holiday meals!

We will have a large variety of our whole leaf organic teas including our NEW Holiday Blends: Cinnamon Orange Hot Toddy, White Chocolate Peppermint & Elderberry Passion Fruit.

Pureblend Gift Baskets are now available for pre-order.  Each basket is choc full of Pureblend exclusive products. Please stop by the stand to see our Gift Basket:)

We will be there with a full selection of breads and croissants, Apple Pie and Fresh soups.

We been busy making holiday wreaths and will have a great selection at the market!

Our pasta and sauces make a delicious and easy meal for weekend guests or special weeknight dinners.

Stock up with Wild For Salmon for the holidays!! Smoked salmon, Gravlax, Whole Fillets, Halibut, Black Cod, Scallops, and now Prawns and King Crab!! Please preorder to ensure availability-- especially whitefish and shellfish products! Also, we will be sampling some of our newest products- Salmon Ikura and Cajun Smoked Salmon Dip. So don't forget to stop by the stand to grab your favorite seafood goods!! See you at market!

We are blessed to be a part of this wonderful farmers market, going on three years. It is wonderful to have meet so many people that appreciate all the work that goes into pieces created by the artisans. Thank you for coming this weekend and supporting local small businesses and artisans.
