Hands-on Freezing Demo

Hello Market Shoppers

We are looking forward to GREAT weather for tomorrow's market!   

 

Cucumbers and zucchinis are abundant at this time of the year and we will have a special quick pickle canning demo at 9am by master canner Beth Miller. If you've been wanting to can and would like an expert lesson, be sure to sign up for the demo here!  You'll also be entered in a free raffle to win a small batch canning kit which we will give away immediately after the demo!

 

It's the Second Saturday of the month and that means we will have artists and a band!  Christine & Co.  will perform on stage starting at 10am and we will have a lovely selection of artists. 

 

And of course we will have an incredible selection of local food- the first heirloom tomatoes of the season, peaches, berries, maple syrup, meats, cheeses and so much more!

This week's blueberries for our incredible seasonal Blueberry Basil gelato came from The Longview Market, and the basil is from The Old Homestead Farm.  We also bring back our Stracciatella (gelato's answer to Chocolate Chip, a cream base drizzled with Belgian bittersweet chocolate), and round out the lineup with Black Cherry Sorbetto, Chocolate Supreme, Rustic Lemon, and the ever-popular Sea Salt Caramel!
