Hello Market Shoppers!
It looks like we will have wonderful weather for the market on Saturday and Ridge Valley Farm will bring the first maple syrup of 2014! Supplies will be limited this week, but they will have more in the coming weeks. It's not too early to order Easter Hams from Country Time Farm. You'll be able to pick them up at the special Easter Market on April 19th that we just added to our calendar! Bridge Street Chocolates will join us this week with their delicious creations including Irish Potatoes.
We'll have a great selection of breads, baked goods, pork, buffalo, beef, veal, turkey, chicken, salmon, eggs, vegetables, cheeses, fresh pasta chocolate, wine, coffee and tea, and more!
This week Michael Olesky, a farmers' market shopper who also offers Health Coaching including Nutritional Counseling and Corrective & Performance Based Exercise.
If you haven't come to one of our Winter Markets, please visit us! We all set up in the upper portion under the bridge and make a cozy circle of incredibly delicious food. Chances are that you will have a chance to chat with a neighbor or old friend, and you might even make some new acquaintances!

Birchrun Hills Farm Ken & Sue Miller
At the market this week we'll have a full lineup of our cheese. On the cheeseboard will be Birchrun Blue, Fat Cat, Equinox and some rich and luscious Red Cat. We'll also have a selection of our veal cuts and sausages.
Birchrun Hills Farm is a family owned dairy farm in the highlands of Birchrunville, Chester County. Sue Miller and her family caringly handcraft raw milk cheese from the milk of their Holstein cows.

We will have a selection of hoophouse grown greens along with the dwindling supply of our storage vegetables. We have lots of seeds started for the main 2014 market season!

Deep Roots Calley Farm Will and Kelly Smith
This week we will have more eggs then usual! As the days get longer the hens are starting to pick up production. Our new flock of 600 Barred Rocks are also showing signs that they will start laying soon!
This week we will have whole chickens, boneless skinless tenders, whole legs and wings. We are getting near the end of our whole chickens so be sure to stock up while we have them.
Our beef won't be ready in time for this weeks market, but we will have beef available next time! We will have a few of our pasture raised turkeys available for only $3/lb (that's $1/lb off!, all are in the 20lb range).
Kelly and Will Smith are the fifth generation to farm Kelly's family's 150 acre farm located in Mohrsville, PA. They raise poultry and beef on their beautiful pastures and are passionate about the environmental and health benefits of pasture raised beef, eggs, and chicken.

Wild for Salmon Jenn and Steve Kurian
Wild for Salmon will be back at the market this Saturday, with the truck stock to the gills with our delicious and healthy sockeye salmon. It's that time of year again, we are beginning to run low on our salmon fillets so stock up while you can and get your share of the catch before it's all gone!
