Hello Market Shoppers!

59 degrees! It looks like tomorrow will be unseasonably warm which makes it a GREAT day to come to the farmers' market to stock up for holiday goodies. We'll have everything from apples and Asian pears to freshly harvested salad greens to cheeses, meats specialty foods and LOTS of gifts.

Marvin Andersen will play holiday tunes on his trumpet from 10 to 10:30 it is an annual treat!

Farmers & Food

Artisans Cafe

In additon to our bags of coffee, we will also bring a large selection of handmade mugs. Stop in at Artisans Gallery & Café after the market and check out all the new artwork and pottery along with a varity of local retail products including the 2013 Firebird T-Shirt and pick up a copy of
"Phoenxiville Rising" written and authorgraphed by a local author.

Backyard Bison
I will be there with a good supply of buffalo. Be sure to stock up since I am not returning until January 11th

Birchrun Hills

We'll be at the market with a selection of cheeses and meats!

Baues' Busy Bees

Raw wildflower honey in glass or plastic jars; 1 and 2 lb. glass jars and 1, 2 1/2 pound plastic jars and a 121 ounce bear.

Bee pollen, a high protein food supplement that can be used as a natural treatment for pollen allergies.

We'll have all our creams, lotion and balms along with our honey soap. All of these make a great gift, either as stocking stuffers or in the large sizes a gifts.

A nice selection of storage vegetables and hoophouse grown greens. Come early to make sure you get your veggies!

Country Time Farm

Don't forget to pick up our pre-ordered hams. We'll also have a supply of our pork products for family meals over the holidays.

Deep Roots Valley Farm

We have a limited number of frozen Christmas turkeys available ($4/lb, most are around 20lbs). We will be bring along extra but you are welcome to email us if you would like us to hold one for you (will@deeprootsvalley.com).

We are still out of beef but will be bringing along plenty of whole chickens, legs, wings, boneless skinless breasts and tenders. We should also have a pretty good supply of eggs this week.

Forks Farm
We are bringing a selection of beef and poultry fresh from our farm.

We have a limited number of half-hams app. 7-8lbs. we suggest calling in and order for these. we will also have our full line of pork including our smoked keilbasa.

We'll be bringing the last of our 2103 LOCAL Maple Syrup. Soon we'll be tapping trees and will return in late February or early March with the first of our 2014 batch!

Saint Peters' Bakery

Selection of our staples of Fresh Breads, Croissants, Pies and soups will be available. We are offering a Christmas Eve pickup from 11 to 12 noon for preorders at the market location. The bakery will be open until 2 pm.

Shellbark Hollow Farm
We will have plenty of delicious cheese for your holiday cheese plates. Enjoy one of our spreads, marinated chèvre or bloomy rind cheeses.

Vera Pasta

We will have a selection of our pastas and are taking orders for our seafood ravioli for the holidays.

Pick up for the raviolis will be 12/21, the last market before Christmas.

Wild For Salmon

Wild for Salmon will be back at Phoenixville this Saturday- King crab, Dungeness, 5 sizes of scallops (all dry packed), sole, Pacific and Black cod are all in and available! We also have whole smoked fillets in both styles for your holiday gatherings. Please pre-order all crab and whitefish and whole smoked. And we have a new salmon creation - GRAVLAX! Cured with kosher salt, fresh dill and orange zest plus a touch of sugar equals a gorgeous and delicious treat! Stop by and sample some!

Tom has been making pots for 20 years. In addition to being beautiful, they are functional stoneware, microwavable, dishwasher safe.

Our FIRST WINTER MARKET will be on January 11th.

We will have WINTER MARKETS on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays from January through April!! The markets will be from 10am to noon and will be under the upper portion of the bridge. Mark your calendars and plan to join us!!!!
