Artisan's Gallery & Café

While at the market this weekend, stop by for a sample taste of our cold weather "Veggie Chili".  Made with the finest ingredients it takes the chill out of the air!  Artisans' hot cider comes directly from North Star Orchard every Saturday morning.  Steamed just before the market opens, it makes a great fall accompaniment with our hot chocolate, which is made with milk and Ghirardelli chocolate.  Both come in children's 8 oz size or a larger 12 oz size.       

Backyard Bison

This week, I'll have a great selection of Buffalo Burgers, steaks, roasts, sausages, hot dogs, jerky, etc.  I also have some new bison items visit http://www.backyardbison.com/productlist.htm for a complete listing.  I will not be at the market on November 30 but I will return on December 7, so stop and see me if you need to stock up.

Birchrun Hills

Rolling out a selection of farmstead cheese for your Thanksgiving cheeseboard.  Birchrun Blue, Fat Cat, Red Cat, Equinox, Honey & Sea Sale, Summer Herb & Garlic, and a small selection of Talula's House Smoked Birchrun Blue will be available. There may even be a surprise or two! Stop by for a taste. We'll also have a selection of our milk and grass fed veal.

Introducing Asian pears in our bourbon caramel pecan and chocolate. We'll also have more of our luscious caramel apples!
Quarter pound turkey favors are available for purchase in milk, dark, white, vegan and of course organic/fair trade soy free!

Stop by for sausage for your stuffing.  Christmas is coming and there is still time to order Christmas hams and any special pork cuts. 

Deep Roots Valley Farm

Fresh Thanksgiving turkeys this week!  Thanks to all of you who ordered in advance! They are $4/lb (less your deposit if you made one).  Don't forget to bring cash or a check, we don't accept credit cards.

We will have extra turkeys for sale at the market, but they will likely be on the larger side.  I will put a post on our facebook page before the market to let everyone know the sizes that will be available.  We don't raise turkeys at Christmas, so if you have room in the freezer now is the time to get one!

This week we will have a few veggies for sale, but the big news is awesome apples and astounding Asian pears! We still have a fantastic supply of your favorites, including Gold Rush, Winecrisp, Reinette Simerenko, Hosui, Niitaka, and more! Time to get a selection of mixed fruit varieties for a healthy and tasty Thanksgiving Day treat!  

Pureblend will be there with Mulling Spices: Apple Cider, Red Wine, Honey-Chai and Fireside Spice Tea. Each Mulling Spice Pack will make a total of 1 GL of spiced beverage.  We think these will be a great addition to your holiday meals!

Saint Peters Bakery

We are taking pre-orders for delivery to the market on Wednesday from 11 till noon, the day before Thanksgiving!  We are baking fresh breads and croissants that day and will be open from 9 till 2pm.    

Shellbark Hollow Farm

A holiday favorite in the Demchur home is a piece of our fresh chèvre with local honey poured over it.  Spread it on your favorite bread (we like  raisin bread) and enjoy it with a cup of tea.
