Hello Market Shoppers!

STRAWBERRIES!  Yes, they are here and there is NOTHING like the taste of a fresh picked local strawberry that has not traveled miles and miles to get to your table.  It is one of those treats you have to enjoy in abundance when it is here, because the season is short.

A few of our producers have been in the news!  Deep Roots Valley Farm was in a feature article in Lancaster Farming and you can read the article here.
The Sunflower Truck Stop will be on the
Live with Kelly and Michael show this morning at 9am - they were one of 10 trucks chosen to compete in a national food truck cook-off- we sure hope they win!  You can see an article about it here

Although it wasn't in the press, Rod Weider's (of Backyard Bison) daughters won 3rd place in the International Odyssey of the Mind Competition over Memorial Day Weekend.  He has been their tireless coach and gave up one of his busiest market days last week to support his daughters- congratulations to the entire Weider Family!

If you already shop at the market, you know it is a friendly place where everyone feels welcome.  Our farmers LOVE our market because of our great community. We'd like to make our community even bigger.
Why not share the love and invite your neighbors or friends to meet you at the market!

We hope to see you in the COOL shade at the market!
