Hello Market Shoppers!

Once again we will have great weather for tomorrow's market!  If you are looking for plants for you garden, be sure to stop by.  Huyards Farm will have bedding pants and hanging baskets, Jack's Farm will have great vegetable and herb plants and the local non-profit nursery school, the Charlestown Playhouse, will have their plant sale at our market too. 

Each week there will be more and more produce as the weather warms.  This week you'll find asparagus, greens, green garlic, radishes and possibly some beets. 

Blanko Dave will entertain us on our new stage from 10am to 1.  It is always a great show!

Wild for Salmon will be at the market only a few more times before they head to Alaska to catch that wonderful Salmon.  Be sure to stock up.

The Phoenixville Hospital will give free blood pressure screenings- be sure to stop by their table.

Check out our weekly "special offering"  of OV's coffee for you to sample and 12 oz bags to purchase. In addition to our hot coffee we bring freshly brewed Iced black & peach Harney Organic Tea along with our Artisans blend Iced Coffee.  And for the "young at heart" we bring iced cold organic lemonade. Our assortment of baked goods (scones, biscotti and energy bars, etc) makes a great pairing with any of our beverages.       

 

Backyard Bison

Rod will NOT be here on Memorial Day Weekend because he will be at the National Odyssey of the Mind Competition with his daughters- we wish him GOOD LUCK!  Be sure to stop by to get your bison for the holiday next weekend!

Deep Roots Valley Farm

We are looking forward to seeing everyone on Saturday!  I just got back from Smuckers Meats with our 3 steers and our freezers are packed with great beef!  I won't have a chance to inventory it until early next week, but you can count on an assortment of cuts at this weeks market!  Since our freezers are so full we are only going to be processing a half batch of chickens on Friday. They will probably be in the 5-6lb range this week, so we will bring some smaller frozen chickens along as well.

This weeks products:

Eggs $4.50/dozen
Pullet Eggs (medium size) $3.50/dozen

Chicken:
Whole Chickens $4/lb
Boneless skinless breasts or tenders $11/lb
Whole legs or wings $5/lb
Hearts or Livers $3/lb

Beef:
Ground Beef $5.50/lb
Hamburger Patties $6/lb
Chip Steak $9 (makes the best cheese steaks!)
We will also be bringing along an assortment of steaks and roasts.

If anyone is interested in any beef organs or fat please let me know and I will get you a price.

 

Ellen April Soap will be back to the market with their luxurious soap and body products. New this week, a limited edition version of a market favorite, Morning Sun.

Wild for Salmon will be back at market this Saturday! We are approaching the end of our season, so make sure to stock your freezers for the summer months!  We will have all of your favorite products, including delicious smoked salmon spread, healthy salmon fillet portions and feta-dill salmon burgers!

This year we are welcoming Phoenixville Producers on EVERY FOURTH SATURDAY of the MONTH!

Bridge Street Chocolates and Black Walnut Winery will join us next week. We hope you will try their creations at the market and then visit their stores when you are in town.
