Artisans' Gallery & Cafe
Featured coffee this weekend will be Columbia Sierra Nevada. This coffee is grown in volcanic soil at altitudes which reach as high as 5200 feet above sea level.  Becoming an organic co-op has helped these farmers to grow ecologically friendly crops as well as improve living conditions for their families. Time to bring out the hot chocolate & hot cider.  Our hot chocolate is made with milk and Ghirardelli chocolate + a "little something special to give it that unique taste .  Add some to your morning coffee and make it a "mocha".  Northstar Orchard will again this year provide us with their apple cider. In addition, we will have one of our seasonal soups, Butternut Squash or a creamy Curry Squash . Weekly Specials ....for breakfast or lunch, try our baked Quiche with fruit and add a 12 oz. Artisans House Coffee for $5.00.  Breakfast scone + 12 oz. house coffee for $3.00 or sandwich wrap + beverage for $7.00.

John and Kira's Chocolates
12pc Tortoises - We took Aesop's Fable The Tortoise and The Hare to heart when we were creating these new confections. Making the caramel we use in our variation of the classic "turtle" is definitely a slow
and steady process. The set of twelve features six Maple Pecan and six Cinnamon Cashew Tortoises.

Mountain View Poultry We are taking orders for Thanksgiving turkeys!

Northstar Orchard

This week, those fantastic Winecrisp apples (Ike's Pick of the Week last week) make their second appearance as Pick of the Week! Hey, they're THAT good, we just can't help it! Other varieties this week will include the last of the Sugar Snap and those awesome antiques, Golden Russet! Asian pears are still in abundance, as are fall veggies such as brassicas and carrots.

The big, breaking news (and I know you've all been waiting for THIS) is that the great Gold Rush Rush of 2012 has begun! You can now stake your claim for a share of this year's crop of Gold Rush. We'll be delivering the Gold during the middle two weeks of November, and varietal cider will arrive on Saturday the 17th. Stake your claim
here.

What's all the fuss about Gold Rush, you ask? If you don't know, just ask anyone shopping from us this coming Saturday and you'll get the lowdown about the best apples on the planet. (and we'll give you more info here in an upcoming email, once we start picking them and have them available for sale at the market)

Hello Market Shoppers!

It looks like we will have a gorgeous fall day for tomorrow's market and you can pick up everything you need for great fall meals.  Apples abound and so do fall vegetables.  Forks Farm will join us with their pasture raised beef and WILD for Salmon will have their wild caught salmon.

Fall is a great time for planting perennials and Sugarbush Nursery will be bringing a selection of native plants to choose from.

Thanksgiving is rapidly approaching and it is not too early to order your pasture raised turkey from Mountain View Farm.

Don't forget the the market is open every weekend until Christmas but with shorter hours.  Country Time Farm is already taking orders for Christmas Hams.

See you at the Market!
