Zentangle Sharings

We receive so many wonderful emails. We are thrilled to share some with you so that you can enjoy them with us.

Dear Rick, Maria and Molly,

The VW-Bus is ready and really beautiful. Today I've written a long blog about the event, the bus, the people and the Magic. You will find it here. I hope the translation-button will help you.

There were 14 tangler two days drawing on that bus, of course without eraser. They had the steps in their head and the pen in their hand and painted directly on the bus.

I've never before felt so much concentration, happiness and peace in such a different group for such a long time. Our little sweet Ameli is 4 years and our brilliant  Irene is 69 years old. There was not one moment of disharmony that day. When the tanglers came to Kirchberg, I just knew Kathrin Bendel, my CZT-colleague. When the tanglers left, there were leaving 14 new and good friends and we are all still in contact.

My husband and I were shading and completing the patterns over 4 weeks. It was very special to touch the drawing of our new friend to awake it.

It wasn't just to tangle a bus, it was a really magic event with lot moments filled with zen.

Kind regards

Ela and Tom Rieger
& friends

Be sure to check out their blog later . . . lots more great pix!

My wife and I just finished our first Zentangle class with Carol Dee, CZT in Frederick MD.

We thoroughly enjoyed the class, learned a lot from a very enthusiastic teacher, and hope to continue with a class with our 12 year old granddaughter. I also ordered your first book and hope to learn more and improve over time.

Being a sculptor, I hope to use the Zentangle skills I learned when finishing a series of relief wall panels 12" x 48".

Sincerely,  --G

Hi Rick, Maria, and Molly -

I hope you are enjoying your summer.  I am always in a place of gratitude, loving my "Zentangle career".  I needed a positive life change, and Zentangle has definitely providing me with that.  I just though I'd share these cute pics of a birthday party I did this week.

Take care,
Sheryl Bruck, CZT

Dear Rich & Maria,

During the loss of my mother back in 2011, I found the online community of Zentangle. While I found no-one in the Pacific NW teaching at that time, I found your book and YouTube post, and thus began my own journey of healing by purchasing your teal box of cards, pencil, and pen. I used a card each night and went through the whole set quickly.

Since then I have reconnected with my artistic self again and return to the process when I need it hit of 'zen'.

I remain forever in loving gratitude for your gifts,  --GS

Hi Rick and Maria!

There's not enough "wow" I can say about Zentangle. It all began in the Fall of 2013.  I discovered a Zentangle design created by a friend who had attended a local workshop.  I was captivated, excited, motivated, and in love! Since then I've been "tangling" something nearly every day.

I love to share my tangles and look for inspiration far and wide. So when The Nature Conservancy announced a way to help save elephants from poaching by creating an "elegram" - I naturally thought of Zentangle!

Thanks for everything!  --B
