Believe in the POSSIBLE
Matthew 19:26 Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."
Yesterday my husband and I pulled a U-Haul trailer filled to capacity to Texas. This trailer contained ALL of our belongings that have been designated for the house that we will one day build on our property.
As we traveled, we discussed our future plans. He wants to build a large house ... I want a small one. He would like to purchase more land ... I am satisfied with our five acres.
The major reason for our differing thoughts is the source of the most prevalent problem that married couples encounter ... MONEY! In my mind, I wondered how we could afford a LARGE house in Texas as well as a cozy home in Louisiana.
My husband is making plans for our future with today's scripture in mind ... with full reliance on God's ability to make a way for this to happen. He thoroughly believes that we have been brought to Texas for a God-given purpose ... to establish a haven where those who are in need of spiritual refreshment could come and spend time with Him in a peaceful setting ... a place of renewal!
Since I truly believe that "with God ALL things are possible," I recognize that I MUST quit looking at our future with human eyes ... I need to see it as God has planned it ... view it from His perspective. I need to believe in the POSSIBLE rather than focusing on the impossible!
My challenge to you today as well as for ME is to pursue the dream that God has put in your heart in the way that He has revealed it to you. Don't try to limit His plans. Instead, embrace your destiny ... AND always know that if it is a God vision He WILL provide the PROVISION!
Dear Lord, Help me to never allow my circumstances to dictate what I can accomplish through You. Let me never waver from believing that the wonderful plans that You have established for my life ARE in my grasp!
I thank You, my Jesus, for dying for me. I believe that You are Lord and that God raised You from the grave so that I can have eternal life.
Reflection: Are you looking at your future with HUMAN eyes or through GOD's eyes?
