At Just the Right Time

 Acts 1:7 Jesus replied,"The Father alone has the authority to set those dates and times, and they are not for you to know." 

One morning not too long ago, something caught my eye as I was driving through my hometown.  The shadow from one of the house numbers hanging on the porch had lined up perfectly on the front door of this home. I thought to myself, "What perfect positioning!"

 After taking a picture, I began to think about this unusual occurrence a bit more. Positioning wasn't the only factor in this creative orchestration. It was the timing as well. At just the right time of day these numbers are perfectly "placed" on this house's front door. 

 One thing I have come to realize is that life is filled with seasons. Some are more difficult than others, and some are just the greatest of our lives ... worthy of the  most amazing memories.  BUT what about the difficult seasons that we desire to whisk through - to exit in our timing. Ever been in that type of season before?  I can admit that I have. 

 Think about two of the four seasons we experience every year. Winter: It's cold, bitter and normally causes many illnesses. What does God grow during winter? Citrus plants! What do citrus plants provide that normally help these illnesses? Vitamin C! Now let's look at Summer: Hot, humid and can lead to dehydration. What does God provide during this season to help quench our thirst and can help reduce our chances of dehydration? Watermelon! 

 Since the beginning of time, God has mapped out all of our seasons. My challenge to you is to trust that He will provide the "right" fruits for you as you embark in your current season.  No matter how difficult of a season you are experiencing know that at just the right time God will reveal the next step for you to take in the wonderful plan that He has for your life.

 Dear Lord, I thank You for knowing exactly what I will need until the Right Moment comes along to take me to my next season ... the next wondrous season that will be fully provided by Your Grace!

I thank You, my Jesus, for dying for me. I believe that You are Lord and that God raised You from the grave so that I can have eternal life.
 
Reflection:  Are you needing to embrace the season you are in ... trusting God to take you to the next one in His Perfect Timing ... At Just The Right Moment?
