He IS My Rock!

Deuteronomy 32:4 "He is the Rock, His works are perfect, and all His ways are just..."

Have you ever been OR are currently in a situation where you feel that there is NO right answer and any decision seems hopeless? That kind of dilemma is basically the definition of the old cliché "between a rock and a hard place."

The Rock

I want to start off by encouraging you today that God is NOT a God of confusion. He DOES have every answer for you through His Word and through prayer. Although it seems as if your situation cannot end well, He Will provide what you need IF you choose to be between THE ROCK and your hard place.

What does that mean? Even though God loves us and shields us from many things, we will still approach "hard places". How we respond to those situations and ultimately get through them depends on whether or not we are leaning on God, our ROCK.

Even if we don't always understand His ways, in time, we will see as depicted in today's verse that His ways are indeed PERFECT and that He is a FAITHFUL God who has NOT forgotten us.

I am reminded of the account of the wise and foolish builders in Matthew 7. Verses 24-25 state, "Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and PUTS THEM INTO PRACTICE is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock."

Are you that wise man today? Have you not only HEARD the Word of God but have put His Word INTO PRACTICE as well? If you are someone who is LIVING out the Word of God, then when trials and tribulations come (and they will), you'll still be standing at the end!

I challenge you today to not only read God's Word but to LIVE it out...only then will you be able to stand strong in times of trouble.

Dear Lord, I thank You that You are my ROCK. That in times of trouble, I am not weakened or destroyed because my foundation is on the Almighty God. Help me to live out Your Word. Holy Spirit, lead me and guide me in ALL that I do.

I thank You Jesus for dying for me. I believe that You are Lord and that God raised You from the grave so that I can have eternal life. In the Name of Jesus I pray.
