Door Number 1, Number 2, or Number 3?

Proverbs 3:5-6   Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding.  Seek His will in all you do, and He will show you which path to take.

Having Church services in a movie theater has been very interesting. While recently greeting Church attendees at the designated area, my friend and I discussed the choice of doors that could be selected at this movie theater on Sunday mornings. Individuals have the choice of proceeding to the door leading to our church service or to the theater showing their selected movie.

As I reflected on these choices, I was reminded of the popular television game show Let's Make A Deal where contestants vie to win an even better prize which is hidden behind one of three doors. Thankfully, we are told in today's verse that we do not have to make deals when it comes to our salvation. Jesus assures us that He will show us which path to take.

My challenge to you today is to always realize that Jesus has promised to direct our ways as long as we put our complete trust in Him. Whether making a decision about attending a Church service or attending a movie... about holding on to a possession or trading it in for something unknown, Jesus is always there to lead us down the right path ... the one that draws us to Him!

Dear Lord, I thank You for being faithful and true to me at all times ... for always being my beacon of light in my times of need.

I also thank You, my Jesus, for dying for me. I believe that You are Lord and that God raised You from the grave so that I can have eternal life.

Reflection: Are you hesitating following God down the path He has set before you because of other choices that are available to you?
