Where Are They?

Matthew 24:40-42 Two men will be working together in the field; one will be taken, the other left. So you, too, must keep watch! For you don't know what day your Lord is coming.

Since March 8th, individuals from all over the world have remained glued to the latest news reports concerning Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 that disappeared en route from Kuala Lumpur  to Beijing. Sadly, the plane was carrying 12 crew members and 227 passengers from 15 nations and regions.

A huge passenger plane missing without a trace seems unfathomable in 2014! With ALL of the advanced technology that is readily available today, the big question remains - "Where Are They?"

Today's verse describes what God has forewarned us about the return of The Lord. When Jesus returns to gather to Himself all of those who have put their trust in Him, the individuals left behind will also be wondering, "Where are they?" It is important to realize that it will not only be 239 individuals missing .... but millions of people who were participating in their normal daily activities when Jesus returned for them!

My challenge to you today is to always be prepared for Jesus' return by PUTTING YOUR TRUST IN HIM. Know that by making Him your Lord and Savior, you WILL be one of the millions He will gather to Himself ... AND will personally transport to His eternal home ... your future dwelling!

Dear Lord, Thank You for the assurance that I can have of an eternity with You. Help me to always trust You even in my most difficult trials. I pray for Your peace and comfort for the families and friends of the individuals who have disappeared as well as for those who are searching for them.

I also thank You, my Jesus, for dying for me. I believe that You are Lord and that God raised You from the grave so that I can have eternal life.
