King of It All

Revelation 19:16 On His robe at His thigh was written this title: King of all kings and Lord of all lords.

I am amazed each day by what my little boy learns in his preschool program. Of course, I love hearing him talk about the colors, numbers, letters of the alphabet and new animals that he has been introduced to. However, my favorite lessons to hear him rehearse are the ones about The Lord!

This week, he has sung to me multiple times that "He is King, He is King, He is King...Jesus has powers!"

I truly appreciate his teacher for depositing this very important truth in his little life. I pray that he always lives His life with the knowledge that Jesus Christ is indeed "King of kings."

A king represents authority. When The Word says that He is "King of kings," it means that He has authority over ALL things....over any other authority on earth. He has the final word. His word is the most powerful of all!

No matter what you are facing, know that He is King over that situation, and He has the power to move mightily in your circumstances. Take this knowledge and apply it in your life, the lives of your children, the lives of those around you...

Dear Lord, Thank You that You are not only my Father but you are also my King. I thank You that Your Kingdom has been made available to me. Help me to walk in the fullness of Your plan for my life.

I thank You, my Jesus, for dying for me. I believe that You are Lord and that God raised You from the grave so that I can have eternal life.

Reflection: Have I allowed Him to be King of everything in my life?
