God in an MRI???
Joshua 1:9 This is my command-be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

Since I had never experienced an MRI medical procedure, my husband was concerned about my reaction to being confined in such an enclosed area. I assured him that I would be fine.
Well, I was ... UNTIL the motorized bed that I was strapped to was moved into the scanner, AND I realized that I would be in this tiny metal cylinder for the next 25 minutes! Suddenly, the tapping noises began, and I knew that there was no way to back out ... I had to find a way to get through this medical necessity!
Today's scripture assures us that we have nothing to fear because God is with us wherever we go. I had two choices when I began to feel that the top, sides, and bottom of the MRI scanner were beginning to close in on me. I could have allowed myself to experience a full-blown panic attack, OR I could BELIEVE that God was truly with me and would comfort me in my time of distress.
My challenge to you today is to honestly call out to God amidst your fear with absolute certainty that He longs to make His presence real ... that He desires to help you get through WHATEVER you are facing.
Dear Lord, Thank You for always being there when I so desperately need You. My strength is found in You.
I thank You, my Jesus, for dying for me. I believe that You are Lord and that God raised You from the grave so that I can have eternal life.
Reflection: Are you remembering to call out to Him in your difficult times?
