Breath of God

Job 33:4 The Spirit of God has made me, and the BREATH of the Almighty gives me life.

These last few extremely cold days have caused me to become congested. I am sure many individuals can relate to this side effect of having to run heaters and light fireplaces. Struggling to breathe can certainly steal your sleep at night and rob your productivity during the day.

Today's verse says that it is the BREATH of the Almighty that gives life. Certainly, God can open up our sinuses and lungs enabling us to physically breathe. He physically breathed life into Adam in Genesis, and He even breathed life into dry bones in Ezekiel...causing the bones to form once again and live.

Likewise, God can breathe life into your situation as well. He can breathe life into your physical body, your relationships, your finances, your emotions, your dead dreams and even your broken faith... Out of death, God can raise a mighty army.

I challenge you today to ask Him in prayer to breathe life into your circumstances.  Even if things are going well for you, the thrust of the breath of God can lunge you into your next season. Additionally, seek Him in His Word. 2 Timothy 3:16 says that all Scripture is God-breathed. There is life...power...healing in His Word!

Dear Lord, Please breathe life into me and my circumstances.  Allow  Your Word to bring clarity and direction into my situations.

I thank You, my Jesus, for dying for me. I believe that You are Lord and that God raised You from the grave so that I can have eternal life.

Reflection: Are you reading God's Word...enabling His breath to bring life to you?
