Does God Work?

Philippians 2:13 For God is WORKING in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases Him.

On the way to school yesterday morning, my son and I had a very interesting conversation about God. Here's the dialogue:

Maddox: I want my GG and my mom.

Me: I'm sorry baby. Everybody has to go to work.

Maddox: What about God?

Me: Yes baby. God is always working. It's just different.

Maddox: What about Jesus?

Me: Yes buddy. Jesus works inside of people.

Maddox: Inside my heart?

Me: Yes sir! He wants to live inside your heart.

Maddox: No Dad. I want him to come out of me so I can see Him!

Can you relate to the innocence of my three-year-old? Have you ever questioned... "Is God REALLY working?" Have you ever wished that you could just PHYSICALLY see Him?

Today's verse is a reminder that "God is working in you..." You may not see it. You may not even feel it, but He is always faithful to His children. Romans 8:28 says, "And we know that in all things God WORKS for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose."

I challenge you today to thank Him for what He is doing in your life even in your darkest hours. Know that He has a plan. He is moving. He is faithful.

Dear Lord. Thank You for Your unending love. I put my hope and trust in You.

I thank You, my Jesus, for dying for me. I believe that You are Lord and that God raised You from the grave so that I can have eternal life.

Reflection: Are there any areas in your life that you need to totally surrender to Him?
