Do You Fully Trust Him?

Psalm 9:10 Those who know Your name will trust in You, for You, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek You.

When playing outside recently with my three-year old grandson in his front yard, I explained that he could not go near the street unless he was certain there were no cars approaching in both directions.  Later, after accidentally kicking his soccer ball into the street, he grabbed my hand and asked if it was safe to cross the street to retrieve his ball.

He had complete TRUST in my ability to do what was best for him.  Today's scripture assures us that we CAN confidently place our trust in God because He will never forsake those who seek Him. He is waiting to take our hand to guide us safely through our difficulties ... our challenges. We just need to ask Him for direction and then to trust in His response.

My challenge to you today is to FULLY TRUST in God's ability to care for you ... to grasp that He will never forsake you. Always know that EVEN WHEN we can't see Him in what we are facing, Romans 8:28 assures us that He is working everything out for our good!

Dear Lord, I thank You for Your steadfast presence in my life. Help me to always realize that I am never alone ... that I can fully trust in Your ability to help me in ALL of my circumstances.

I thank You, my Jesus, for dying for me. I believe that You are Lord and that God raised You from the grave so that I can have eternal life.

Reflection:  Is there a situation in your life in which you need to fully trust God to handle in His perfect way?
