Go For It!
Ecclesiastes 11:4 Farmers who wait for perfect weather never plant. If they watch every cloud, they never harvest.
Many of us make New Year's resolutions relative to eating healthier or incorporating exercise in our busy lives. These are the obvious choices after overindulging in the abundance of delectable holiday food!
But ... what about the dreams that we have put not pursued for a variety of reasons - lack of time, limited finances, FEAR of failure, FEAR of what people will say, FEAR of leaving behind a comfortable existence???
Today's scripture cautions us against waiting for all of the conditions in our lives to be PERFECT before going forward with our dream. When it is a God-given desire of our heart, there comes a point in time where we have to make the decision to just GO FOR IT!
Sadly, many individuals allow scenarios that may never materialize to keep them from going forth with what they have been destined to do. OR they put off their dreams/desires until they feel that the timing is right.
My challenge to you today is to act on your dreams. There is never a better time to start doing what God meant for you to do than right now.
Dear Lord, Help me to always realize that You will be with me to provide the strength and guidance that I need to achieve my dreams. Keep me from stifling my purpose in You because of my fear of the uncertain.
I thank You, my Jesus, for dying for me. I believe that You are Lord and that God raised You from the grave so that I can have eternal life.
