New Every Morning
Lamentations 3:22-23 Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is His faithfulness.
Today's scripture confirms God's great love for us as well as His unfailing compassion. This verse also assures us that God is with us when we awake each morning to supply what we need to face our day!
On this last day of 2013, we would like to thank our readers for the awesome opportunity to share God's Word with all of you for the last 365 mornings. Based on the numerous comments that we have received throughout the year, we are certain that these messages have touched and inspired our readers as well as us personally. For this, we give all glory and honor to God.
We pray that God's faithfulness in providing just what we need when we need it will be evident to you in the sampling of comments from our readers below:

These comments along with all of the others that we received truly blessed us ... encouraged us in this work of The Lord. God took the humble beginnings of one friend in sending short daily messages to another friend to comfort her with His Word during her illness and then transformed this effort into a ministry that now reaches more than 1,000 individuals each day through email and social media.
Our original thought was to write these messages for one year and then to compile a devotional that we would publish and make available to those who were diagnosed with cancer in memory of the inspiration behind The Constant Friend Devotions, Connie Barbier. Now that the year has come to a close, we have begun seeking options to publish the book. We have also made the decision to continue with the daily devotions but in a shorter format. The January 1st devotion will be reflective of the new format.
We are hopeful that our Constant Friends will continue reading the devotions.. It has been our honor to be used by God in this way. We look forward to seeing what God will do through this work......
We challenge you in 2013 to focus on at least ONE person that you will determine not to give up on. Take everything you know...everything you have learned and apply it to reach this person...possibly someone you love or maybe even a total stranger that God leads you to bless!

Dear Lord, We thank You for Your faithfulness and Your great compassion. You are a loving God ... a merciful God. We are so grateful to You for providing something NEW EVERY MORNING ... the something that we need to be reflections of You in all we do ... in all we say ... each and every day.
I thank You, my Jesus, for dying for me. I believe that You are Lord and that God raised You from the grave so that I can have eternal life.
