"His Word Does NOT Return Void" Series

Day 1: A Message in a Bottle

Day 2: The God of His Word

Day 3: What Does ANYTHING Mean?

Final Day: Straight to the Throne

Psalm 68:19 Blessed be The Lord, Who daily loads us with benefits, the God of our salvation!

On his return to Spain following his first voyage to the New World, Christopher Columbus' ship encountered a severe storm. To preserve his discoveries, Columbus threw a report of his findings in a sealed cask in the sea with a note asking it to be passed on to the QUEEN of Castile. He hoped the news would make it back even if he did not survive. Thankfully, Columbus lived.

We began this series with a verse in Psalm encouraging us to CAST our burdens on Jesus Christ. We continued each day by studying three important truths found in Isaiah 55:11 about the power of God's Word. This scripture first declares that God's Word will not return void, secondly that His Word will accomplish that which He pleases and finally, it will prosper in the thing where God sends it.

God's Word IS alive and is designed to PROSPER. The Bible is loaded with verses of promises for God's children who walk in obedience to Him. However, it is a matter of life and death who we speak our words to and who we allow to speak into our lives.

Columbus did not just send his message out to anyone. He sent it to the Queen. He intended it to go straight to the THRONE.

If you desire for God's Word to prosper in your life, you must speak His Word and make your petitions known to Him and to those who will BELIEVE with you. The Bible urges that life and death are in the power of the tongue. It is totally counterproductive to their faith when believers confide in and share their hearts with people that do not have faith for their miracles.

Instead of throwing their words into a sea of hope, those words fall into a sea of despair and are recovered by people who mishandle the message at hand.

I challenge you today to send God's Word out to people you can trust to inspire, encourage and uplift you. Most importantly, join forces with those who will stand with you in prayer and believe for you to prosper in all things. Matthew 18:19 says, "...If two of you agree here on earth concerning anything you ask, My Father in Heaven will do it for you." Send your message straight to THE Throne!

Dear Lord, Please deafen my ears to any negative reports and words. Place people in my life who will always encourage me to believe for Your miraculous power to operate in my life.

I thank You, my Jesus, for dying for me. I believe that You are Lord and that God raised You from the grave so that I can have eternal life.

Here's a little extra for you today! These are just SOME of the many promises that God has for YOUR life! Speak and pray these verses.

Proverbs 3:9-10 Honor The Lord with your possessions, And with the firstfruits of all your increase; So your barns will be filled with plenty...

Deuteronomy 28:2-8 And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of The Lord your God: Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the country. Blessed shall be the fruit of your body, the produce of your ground and the increase of your herds, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flocks. Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl. Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out. The Lord will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before your face; they shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways. The Lord will command the blessing on you in your storehouses and in all to which you set your hand, and He will bless you in the land which The Lord your God is giving you.

Job 36:11 If they obey and serve Him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.

Psalm 37:3-4 Delight yourself also in The Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Psalm 37:25 I have been young, and now am old; Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his descendants begging bread.

Psalm 68:19 Blessed be The Lord, Who daily loads us with benefits, The God of our salvation!

Proverbs 10:3 The Lord will not allow the righteous soul to famish.

Isaiah 58:11 The Lord will guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in drought, and strengthen your bones; you shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says The Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Matthew 6:33 But seek first The Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Luke 6:38 Jesus said; Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.

Luke 12:32 Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you The Kingdom.

Romans 8:32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?

Galatians 6:9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.

Isaiah 53:5 But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by His wounds we are healed.

Ephesians 3:20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.
