NEVER Outnumbered

1 Corinthians 15:57 But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Outnumbered

I am reminded of television shows and movies such as "Dangerous Minds" where one ambitious teacher attempts to reach students in an extremely unruly high school class. Although the teacher is highly outnumbered at a ratio of at least 20:1 - through exercising wisdom, authority, and discipline - she victoriously imparts into each student. I have much respect for the many educators I know. The ability to keep order in a large classroom (unruly or not) for 7 hours a day is phenomenal (and probably why most teachers are enjoying their summer break).

I am sure there are times in life where we face assignments feeling inadequate, outnumbered and defeated from the beginning. Likewise, we may receive news that seems completely hopeless. In these situations, God has given His believers what is needed to be victorious.

In Leviticus 26:8, God encourages His children that if they would obey His commandments, the following would happen: "Five of you will chase a hundred, and a hundred of you will chase ten thousand! All your enemies will fall beneath your sword."

Just as an outnumbered teacher must gain control of her class, we too need to exercise wisdom, authority and discipline in our lives. In Matthew 18:18 Jesus reveals, "Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven."

When we are living lives of obedience to God and constantly inviting His presence in our lives, we can speak forth a request on earth that will immediately send an assignment to Heaven. Then, an entire Angelic Army will stand behind us giving us the upper hand.

1 Corinthians 15:58 (the scripture following today's verse) says, "Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let NOTHING move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain."

Know that your prayers, labor and faith are NOT in vain. You are NEVER outnumbered. God is ALWAYS working on the behalf of those who love and honor Him.

I challenge you today to take authority over your situations. Do not back down! God says in His Word that He has NOT given us a "spirit of fear." Take charge with confidence today.

Dear Lord, I thank You that I can always have victory in You. I declare today for a breakthrough in my situation and in the lives of those I love.

I thank You, my Jesus, for dying for me. I believe that You are Lord and that God raised You from the grave so that I can have eternal life.
