Password Reset

Ephesians 3:12 ...we have boldness and ACCESS with confidence through our faith in Him.

Key
I was recently trying to access one of my online accounts, and I could not remember my password. I tried old passwords that I sometimes use. I even tried the password hints.

One hint asked, "What was the name of your first pet?" To my dismay, I couldn't remember if I had typed in my first goldfish as a first pet, my first kitten or my first puppy.

I needed IMMEDIATE access, and I began to grow very frustrated when I couldn't obtain it. Finally, I surrendered and clicked on "Forgot Password" and had to reset my password. Of course, the moment I learned the old password....I put my hand on my forehead and thought, "duh!"

Have you ever been there in your life? You needed IMMEDIATE access to an answer, to a prayer, or to God, AND you just didn't know how to obtain it. Maybe there was a time in your life where you felt like you were closer to God, but NOW you can't remember how you gained "access" to Him.

Maybe it's time to "reset" your password or to "sign-up" to gain access to everything God has to offer. Here's a great password hint: "Honesty" Just be honest with God. Let Him know that you need Him to move in Your life.

We're reminded in Philippians 4:6 to "...not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, PRESENT your requests to God."

When we live our lives for Jesus Christ and present our requests to Him, we can have "boldness and ACCESS with CONFIDENCE through our faith in Him" according to today's scripture.

Then, we'll take our hands and place them on our heads and think, "duh!"

I challenge you today to BELIEVE that God will do what He said He will do. He is a good God who loves you and has not forgotten you while you stand locked outside the door. Like a good and faithful parent, He desires to give you access to EVERYTHING in His power...which IS everything!

Dear Lord, Forgive me for the times I've fallen short in my commitment of prayer and praise to You. I am SO thankful that You love me. You are an amazing God, loving father and faithful friend. Thank You for sending me Your Holy Spirit to give me peace, comfort and ACCESS to You!

I thank You Jesus for dying for me. I believe that You are Lord and that God raised You from the grave so that I can have eternal life. In the Name of Jesus I pray, Amen.
