Leave the Multiplication to Jesus
Matthew 15:35-38 He told the crowd to sit down on the ground. Then He took the seven loaves and the fish, and when He had given thanks, He broke them and gave them to the disciples, and they in turn to the people. They all ate and were satisfied. Afterward the disciples picked up seven basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over. The number of those who ate was four thousand, besides women and children.

Do you ever feel that your list of "To-Dos" surpasses the amount of time that you have to get everything done? What should we do at these times?
I believe that today's scriptures hold much insight as to how we should approach our particular situations. From the last verse, we read that over 4,000 individuals were fed. How did Jesus begin when faced with such a daunting task? Imagine dealing with that number of hungry individuals with NO GROCERY STORES OR FAST FOOD RESTAURANTS AROUND! Well, we read that He had them all SIT DOWN. Jesus understood how important ORGANIZATION is to the success of task completion.
His second action was also a vital one. He took the resources that were available to Him and OFFERED THANKS. He didn't waste valuable time complaining about what He didn't have!
Next, He solicited the assistance of others to complete the massive task that was before Him. With the help of others, the miraculous feeding of over 4,000 was not only possible BUT successfully completed with plenty remaining.
I challenge you today to realize that with Christ all things are possible. When we begin to feel overwhelmed with TOO many tasks and TOO little time, don't waste time counting the number of loaves of bread and fish in your basket. Instead, follow Jesus' lead. Put order in the situation, offer thanks for what you have, solicit the help of others, and go forth and do what is needed to be done. Just as He was able to feed thousands, He can miraculously multiply your time to allow you to scratch out everything on your "To-Do" list!
Dear Lord, Ephesians 5:15-16 warns us to "Be very careful...how you live---not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity." I ask that You help me to become a wise steward of my time in order for me to fulfill all that You have planned for my life.
I thank You Jesus for dying for me. I believe that You are Lord and that God raised You from the grave so that I can have eternal life. In the Name of Jesus I pray.
