The Arctic Light Hotel is a new contemporary boutique hotel located in Rovaniemi Lapland. The 1950's building and former City Hall of Rovaniemi will be converted into a beautifully designed boutique hotel opening in early April 2015. The hotel will have a spacious cozy lounge, restaurant and a collection of 57 spacious individually styled rooms & suites.

The British newspaper The Guardian has published its list of new accommodations for Great Britain and continental Europe for 2015. Hotel Indigo Helsinki - Boulevard is the only destination listed from Scandinavia. In addition to the hotel, the paper praises Helsinki as an urban holiday destination more glamorous than its reputation. The 120-room boutique hotel will open on Bulevardi Street in March. The hotel rooms are divided into different themes, where one is designed by graphic designer Linda Linko, recipient of the European Design Award. The ICEHOTEL has received attention in the press lately, and most recently in The New York Times and Dezeen magazine. Marking its 25th anniversary this year, the hotel offer 61 rooms, bars and lobbies, including a movie theater. Come April and May, the entire hotel will melt away, before it will be rebuilt again in the fall. This is the first year the hotel also offers outdoor activities, such as dog sledding, snowmobiling and cross country skiing.
