Boys Soccer Dominates Ventura in 4-1 Road Win. Host Santa Barbara for CIF Semifinal
The road to the CIF Championship continues as Boys Soccer scored a 4-1 convincing win over Ventura HS in CIF Quarterfinal play. The team has now scored 8 goals and given up just two in three playoff matches. The team will host Santa Barbara High School this Tuesday at 5:00p. The first 200 students in attendance will receive a free t-shirt. Come out and support our boys.

Show Choir Raises the Roof

Countless hours of rehearsal. Hundreds of costumes, lighting cues, set changes, and thousands of notes. All of the hard work and talent was on display for four sold out shows this past weekend as the Los Al Show Choir program showcased most of their competition pieces. The students truly delivered on the show's title "Raise the Roof" as they raised the bar number after number. Thank you to all of our parent volunteers and our students for sharing their talents with our school community.

Drum Line and Jazz Big Weekend

Drum Line had a great performance this past weekend, taking 1st place at the Southern California Percussion Alliance show at Damien High School. It was their first show of the year, and the students were awesome. The group scored exceptionally high for a first show with a score of 83.60.  Congratulations Drum Line.

The Jazz Program participated in the Western States Jazz Festival at Upland High School.  Jazz 3 earned 3rd place, Jazz 2 earned 4th place, and Jazz 1 took 4th out of 10 schools and was fewer than two points away from taking first.  Combo 1 took 3rd and Combo 2 took 1st in their respective divisions. Jazz 3 earned Outstanding Saxophone Section, and 12 students were recognized with Outstanding Soloist Awards across all of our combos and bands. A huge shout out to Mr. Plunkett and Mr. Harrell and our students.
