And we couldn't be more appreciative of the contributions our teachers and staff have made to our family, this culture, and all of their students. Thank you!

Safety First!
New Double-Speed-Bump Installed In Driveway Towards Back Student Parking Lot
Please Note The Double Speed Bump That's Being Installed At Los Al This Weekend. Drivers Take Notice.
Safety is always a top priority in Los Al, and that is why starting on Tuesday, you'll find a new double-speed-bump in the driveway towards the back student parking lot. This bump is intended to ensure a 5 MPH speed limit in the driveway which is critical to keeping all students safe at all times. Loud bumps and long vibrations can disrupt the instruction taking place in classrooms that line the long road towards the parking lot, so adhering to the speed limit and being mindful of the new bumps will be more than appreciated by all :)

Los Al Sends Two Students To Prestigious Summer Leadership Opportunity:
Every year, American Legion sponsors and sends a few students from Los Alamitos High School to attend Girls State, Boys State, or both, during the Summer before their Senior Year. These week-long camps provide a unique experience in which participants are exposed to civic and legislative leadership opportunities across a wide array of civic applications. High school juniors are selected by local American Legion Posts to attend the program, and this year Los Al will be represented by Sam Barke and Abigail Chernila. Current students interested in participating next year can contact their Guidance Counselor for more information. The process is rigorous, and includes an interview and transcript review, but the opportunity is prestigious and well worth the effort and time that goes into throwing one's name in the ring!
