ATHLETICS:  Softball, Track, And Boys Tennis Are In The Hunt For A CIF Title!!!
Sometimes the power of sports has nothing to do with any of the on-field action. The Los Al Baseball team ex-perienced that this week as they went to the hospital to visit Austin --- a 10-year old who served as a Griffin bat-boy earlier this season.  Austin hadn't been feeling well lately, but doctor's remarked that after the Los Al Baseball visit, Austin's white-blood-cell count was on the rise. The morning after the visit, when Austin woke up, he remarked "I slept so good last night.  It felt like I was sleeping on a cloud..."  If that's not what matter most about athletics and teambuilding, then what is? Thanks Baseball!  You've proved, once again, that  #LOSALROCKSATALLSPORTS

Washington Post Ranks Los Al As One Of America's Most Challenging Schools!

Offering A Challenging Curriculum Is A Benefit For Students As They Prepare Themselves For College & Career Opportunities Upon Graduating From High School.

With its highest ranking ever, Los Al continues to soar in its ability to provide students with a rigorous and challenging academic experience that prepares students for life beyond high school.  Just click ABOVE to see the incredible achievement statistics Los Al students garner --- from SAT Scores, AP Course offerings, and students attending 4-year colleges...  the results are truly staggering!

In the end, of course, rankings are not what motivate our students and teachers to achieve at such national caliber levels.  Instead, it's our belief in the value of the 4 A's (Academics, Athletics, Activities, and The Arts) that propel all of us to excel at just about everything we endeavor to try.

Los Al Dance Sells Out 4 Shows Of Hit STREET SYMPHONY:
In Case You Missed, Check The Video Below For A Small Medley Of This Incredible Show!

Led by Director Rikki Jones, the hundreds of students who participated in the final dance show of the year at Los Al were primed and ready to go for this original performance.  STREET SYMPHONY lent itself to showcase the talents of our Griffins as they danced to multiple styles of music --- jazz, hop-hop, contemporary, and ballet just to name a few.  Los Al Dance has always been one of the strongest and most robust programs in the entire school, and we can't wait until next year to see what Ms. Jones and her cohort of dancers take on to perform for their thousands of followers!
