Did you hear the good news?
Girls Volleyball defeated Orange Lutheran tonight and is headed to the CIF Finals this Saturday against Mater Dei!!! With football playing Fullerton on Friday, and X-Country competing on Saturday morning in CIF finals, the entire Los Al community is in for an exciting weekend of national-caliber athletics :)
To celebrate the ongoing achievements of all our teams competing deep into CIF Playoffs this Fall, we'll be holding a nighttime Pep Rally this Thursday under the new lights of John Barnes Field. The Rally will be from 5:30pm - 6:30pm, with Food Trucks on site from 4:30pm 'til close for families wanting to fill up on some deliciousness! For optimal enjoyment, we suggest coming to campus around 5pm to grab dinner and be in the stands for the start of our festivities.
For students and families that have yet to attend a sporting event this year, this event is sure to capture the spirit and connectedness our Fall Sports have brought to the Los Al campus this season. For those who have been out to a game, supporting our Griffins as they compete against the county's best will go a long way towards furthering our culture and fostering the experiences that make Los Al one of the most highly regarded public high schools in the country --- not only in Athletics, but in Academics, Activities, and The Arts as well.
Your support and attendance at Thursday's Rally would be more than appreciated. And making it out to any of the games this weekend would be phenomenal!
Congratulations, again, to all of our Fall Sports! There's still some games to be played... but we couldn't be prouder of all that you've achieved!
