GrantsKORE Academy receives
grants from CCB & WHAS 
Thank you to the Children's Charity Fund of the

Bluegrass for a generous grant to KORE Academy for our Tuition Assistance program! KORE had a record number of applicants for financial assistance this year. Our average award was $2292 and we were able to assist 28% of our student body with aid.
 KORE Academy is pleased to announce that we have received a grant from the WHAS Crusade for Children in support of our reading intervention program. This grant will enable KORE to hire an additional part-time reading specialist to work with the increasing number of students with language-based learning issues.

For the first time, KORE Academy has produced an annual report! Please review it by clicking here. The annual report is for the school year 2015-2016 and is located on the KORE Academy web site.

Our annual report will help us to tell our story and demonstrate our accomplishments to current and future donors and partners!

At the July board meeting, Dr. Rizwan Ali was elected as the new KORE Academy board president. Vicki Henderson resigned due to a move out of state. She will remain as a board member.

Dr. Ali has been a board member for one year and is a current KORE Academy parent. His daughter, Tahreem, graduated from KORE in 2015 and his son, Kumber, starts KORE as a fifth grader this year. Dr. Ali's strong connection to KORE's mission and his enthusiasm and leadership will help move KORE to the next level!
KORE Academy is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS CASI), an accreditation division of AdvancED.
