Raffle Ticket Sales Update!

Congratulations to all the students & families who have been hard at work selling raffle tickets to benefit our Tuition Assistance fund!! Great selling so far!!

Remember, 100% of ticket sales goes to our Tuition Assistance Fund! This fund currently enables 7 families to afford a KORE Academy education for their student.

So far, we have sold over 300 tickets!! Our goal is to raise $10,000 for the fund and to do that we need to sell MORE tickets!! 

There are still at least 2 weeks to reach our goal of 800 tickets sold by the KORE Academy team!! WE CAN DO IT! 

Sales to alumni and others, tickets sales the night of the Fall Festival and $1 raffle ticket sales will put us over the $10,000 mark!!   

Director Search Update

As most of you are aware, Carol Douglas plans to step down as school director at the end of this year. She does plan to continue serving our kids as a teacher at KORE. We are in the process of conducting a search for her replacement and hope to have someone in place by June 1.

The board recognizes the difficulty of replacing Mrs. Douglas, particularly with respect to her experience, work ethic, professionalism and heart for students with learning challenges. Mrs. Douglas has indicated to the board that she is willing to stay on as director until the right person for this job is found. We are most appreciative! Our search is underway and we will update you on our progress.
